This document describes how to create the following for your custom Drupal 8 or 9 theme:
- Color schemes
- Color preview
- Mappings between color schemes and your theme’s regions
NOTE: The Color module is slated for removal from core in Drupal 10 and has been removed from the Standard profile in Drupal 9.4.0. It can, however, still be enabled as a contrib module.

MY ROLE
Although my primary title within the IPS team was Software Developer, I wrote this document because I only found tutorials on the Web about building color schemes and previews for Drupal 7 themes.
