LEARNING DITA WITH OXYGEN XML

I recently completed a Udemy course titled Technical Writing: How to Write Using DITA XML.

According to the Learning DITA website, DITA is an XML-based, tool-independent way to create, organize, and manage content. DITA is built on:

  • Topic-based authoring
  • Separating content from formatting
  • Minimalism
  • Structured authoring concepts

The Udemy course was a double-hitter for me because the tool chosen for the course, Oxygen XML, is what I’ll soon be using in my current Technical Writer role with Baxter International.
