I first became interested in working with the Non-Roman Script Initiative (NRSI – now Writing Systems Technology) project after watching their interactive Flash demo.

Although it was a highly effective marketing tool, it couldn’t be viewed on iPhones or iPads because iOS didn’t support the Flash player. So, I converted the Flash demonstration into a responsive MP4 playlist and documented the conversion process.

I have since moved the individual MP4 files to YouTube and added English subtitles to accommodate hearing-impaired visitors or viewing in quiet areas. As a potential enhancement, the subtitle files could be translated into other languages and made available for selection on YouTube.
